Everyday we're feeding families who are finding it tough to put food on the table. With the cost-of-living crisis affecting many, we now have one in eight children living in poverty, and 22% of Kiwi households unable to make ends meet. This number is only expected to climb.
Every week we are feeding anywhere between 1,000 to 3,000 people, more over winter and Christmas. We provide food boxes to New Zealand Police stations, schools and social housing services for families in need and also through food bank referrals from social workers, community nurses, teachers and more.
