We’re proud to work alongside Mitre 10 to deliver community gardens, hubs, school gardens and outdoor play spaces that create lasting impact for children, whānau and the communities around them.
Together, we build spaces that support wellbeing, connection and resilience, places where children can play, learn and grow, families can come together, and communities are strengthened for years to come. These projects are designed for schools and communities who may not otherwise have the time, resources or specialist skills to create these spaces on their own.
Our Build Projects range from vegetable gardens and fruit forests that support food security and hands-on learning, to playgrounds, basketball courts and revitalised community spaces that encourage active play, social connection and pride of place. Each project is shaped in partnership with the community it serves, ensuring it reflects local needs and is genuinely owned and cared for long after the build is complete.
Over the past three years, we’ve completed 51 build projects across Aotearoa - transforming under-resourced spaces into vibrant, practical and joyful environments that support children and families every day.
We want to bring the team to your place!
We’re on the lookout for more projects around Aotearoa where we can spread some kindness by building or transforming community spaces. Do you know of a marae kitchen, refuge safe house, school, church or community hub that could do with a makeover? Do you know of a school that would benefit from a garden to help teach tamariki the journey from kai to the kitchen?
