Help Santa visit every child this Christmas

Over 160,000 children are living in poverty and as the cost-of-living crisis worsens, many families are struggling more than ever before. Thousands of children will wake up on Christmas morning without presents, or even food. This year, you can be the reason they unwrap a little bit of joy instead.

The Christmas Joy Store is New Zealand’s first social toy store that provides the gift of kindness and the dignity of choice. The Joy Store invites referred parents and caregivers to choose gifts and treats for their children they know they'll love, off the shelves, shopping for free.

For 11 years we've been helping Santa visit families in need, and so far, have provided 42,675 children with the magic of Christmas.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

HELP DELIVER JOY

Each year, The Christmas Joy Store provides over 10,000 children and their families with presents, treats and food to enjoy on Christmas Day.

We also host Christmas events and deliver toys and treats to over 8,000 children in need in 62 regions, cities and towns across New Zealand too. Check out how you can help below.

Fill the fridge

Help fill the fridge and provide food for Christmas for a family in need.

Thanks to the support from our partners and business community, for a $50 donation we can support a family with $250 worth of food.

Each food box will include pantry staples, food for Christmas Day including protein and produce, and treats for the whole family.

Host a Giving Tree

Get your workplace, school, club or team together and host a Giving Tree at Christmas to support families in need.

As well as the Christmas Joy Store, we deliver Christmas to children in need all over the country, with presents collected in each region staying local for local kids.

Register, and download everything you need to get started, including promotional materials, collection posters and toy wish-lists via the links below.
